In order to thank them for all they had done, people choose two special days that are called Mother’s day and Father’s Day to return their love. Mother's Day has just gone, so let us mainly talk about Father’s Day.
The origin of Father’s Day. Mrs. John B.Dodd is the first person to propose the idea of a "Father's Day" in 1909. She wanted to in honour of her father, William Smart. After her mother died, her father put up with all kinds brought up 6 children. When she grew up that realized her father’s strength and selflessness. Therefore, she proposed the idea of "Father's Day" to thank father. After then, people around the world all gradually started to celebrate Father’s Day. Till now, Father's Day has become a day to not only honor your father, but all men who act as a father figure. In China, Father’s Day is on the third week of June.

As for me, I love my father deeply, but I am a shy person that can not say some words to my father, like ''Dad, I love you so much''. The first year, I spent one hundred buying a bouquet of roses. The second year, I sent a Zippo lighter to him. This year, I intend to buy Lover Towel for my father and my mother.
